How Translation Companies Help Develop Business
Let me share a couple of interesting cases from our practice.
Case 1. Marketing translation
We received a request to translate and edit clickbait titles (250 words) by an Indonesian native speaker. Terms: if the volume of a translated title exceeds 65 symbols, it should be edited with minimal loss of content. Deadline: 1 day.
Within a short period of time, we had to find an Indonesian native speaker who knows Russian and is experienced in marketing translation. After all, we worked with advertising content that should be professionally translated and edited if necessary.
Despite the difficulties, we managed to complete the order on time and added one new qualified native speaker to our translators base.
Case 2. Translation of the application for cryptocurrency exchange
The client requested to localize a cryptocurrency app for the Asian market. Within 2 days, we had to perform translation from English into Korean, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Japanese and Chinese saving the code and original JSON format.
Developers know that product enhancement is endless — it is always necessary to add or change something. So our client also modified and corrected their app all the time. This made the task more complicated for translators and took more time to localize it. However, despite the difficulties, the project was completed successfully, and the localized app held the 79th position in AppStore in the Finances section.
Case 3. Gambling website translation
The client made a request to translate a gambling website from Russian into 9 languages — Spanish, Kazakh, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Thai, Turkish, French, Japanese. Deadline: 2 days.
The difficulty lay not only in the number of language pairs that required separate translators and editors. All translators had to be qualified in gambling translation.
This project was also effectively completed — the client received a ready-made project before deadline.
